Red Chilli powder
Dhanajiru powder
For Vaghar (Tadka) :
Jira
Kadi Limdo (Kadi Patta)
Taal (Til)
Whole Red Chilli
Green Chilli
Directions
- Take Chana Dal as per your requirement. And wash it.
2. Cut Dudhi or Zucchini and add in Chna Dal. Put the water in it and cook in Pressure Cooker.
3. Now for Vaaghar / Tadka:
Take little oil in Vessel and hit it.
Add Jira, Til, Kadi Patta, Green Chilli, Red Chilli and Hing (Asafoetida).
4. Add cooked Chana Dal and Dudhi or Zucchini in it.
5. Now add all masala Salt, Chilli powder, Dhaniajira, Kokam, Gor (Jaggery) in it as per taste.
6. Add cut tomato, onion and lemon juice in it.
7. Cook for 15-20 minutes on medium heat.
