Sabudana Pattice ! Gujarati Farali Recipe ! Fry Free !

Sabudana also called as Tapioca and Sago is often use during fasting or upvaas. Sabudana contain lots of starch and carbohydrates and low in calories. That's why Sabudana is use during fast to boost energy. Try this Sabudana Pattice which is not fry and taste good without compromising taste.




Ingredients

Sabudana - 2 Cup
Boil and Cut Potato - 3 Cup
Red Chili Powder - 1 Tsp.
Sesame Seeds - 1 Tsp.
Lemon Juice - 2 Tsp.
Sugar - 1 Tbsp.
Broken Cashew Nuts - 2 Tbsp.
Raisins - 1 Tbsp.
Grated Ginger - 1 Tsp.
Salt - as needed
Cilantro or Coriander Leaves - as needed
Oil - as needed

Directions


Soak Sabudana for 4 Hours. Not to add to much water. Cook Potato in Pressure cooker, remove skin and cut it.
 
 
Now drain Sabudana.

 
Add boil and cut potato in Sabudana.

 
Add all other ingredients - Salt, Red Chili Powder, Sesame Seeds, Lemon Juice, Sugar, Gratted Ginger, Broken Cashew, Raisin, Cilantro in it.  

 
Mix everything properly.


 
Make a small ball in your palm.
 

 
Press it between Palm and make a Pattice. Heat tava on medium flame. Spread oil and put Pattice on it.

 
Flip it once it turn brown. Cook other side.

 
Serve Sabudana Pattice with Farali Green Chutney.
