Gujarati Dal Dhokli from Leftover Dal

Make a Gujarati Dal Dhokli from leftover Dal you have. You can also make from making  Dal from Scratch. It can prepare with very less ingredients in less amount of time.

Ingredients

For Dhokli

Whole Wheat Atta - 2 Cup

Red Chili Powder - 2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
Jira - 1 Tsp.
Ghee - 1 Tbsp.
Oil - 1 Tbsp.
Salt as needed

For Dal

Dal Cook - 2 Cup
Peanuts - ¼ Cup
Kokom Phool or Amchur Powder - 1 to 2
Jaggery or Brown Surgar - 2 Tbsp.
Red Chili Powder - 1 Tsp.
Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp.
Ginger - 1 Tsp.
Jira - 1 Tsp.
Lemon Juice - 1 Tsp.
Hing - pinch
Salt - as needed

Directions

For Preparing Dal

Add 2 Cup of cook leftover Dal in a container.

Add around 3 Cup (or as per your need) water.

Add all Dal's ingredents in it.

Hit properly.

In between make Dhokli.


For Dhokli

Add all Dhokli's ingredents in a container and mix it properly.

Add around 1 Cup of water slowly slowly and make a dough not too hard or soft.

Make a ball from the dough and roll it thin around 7 inch circle.

Make around 5 -6 Dhokli.

Now Cut in a diamond shape.

Add Cut dhokli in a dal.

Stir well to prevent sticking.

Cook on medium flame around 15 minutes.
