Quick Baked Tortilla Samosa Recipe

Those who are calorie conscious and don't want to eat fry item but still craving for the good food here is the Baked Samosa from Tortilla Recipe for them. You can even give this to the kids in Lunch Box.







Ingredients

Tortilla - as needed
Potato - 2 medium size
Cut Carrot - ⅓ Cup
Peas - ⅓ Cup
Whole Chili - ½
Oil - 1 Tbsp.
Red Chili Powder - ½ Tsp.
Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
Cut Garlic - 1 Tbsp.
Lemon Juice - 1 Tsp.
Fennel Seeds - 1 Tsp.
Pavbhaji masala or Garam masala - 1 Tsp.
Hing - pinch

Directions

 
Cut the Potato and cook it in a Pressure cooker
 
 
Boil Carrot and Peas separately.
 Now remove the skin from Potato and cut it in a small pieces
 
 
Hit the pan and add  1 Tbsp. of oil in it.
 
 
Add Jeera in it and let it sputter. Add pinch hing in it.
 
 
Add Red Chili and Cut Garlic in it and roast it till garlic color change.
 
 
Add cut Potato, Carrot and Peas in it.
 
 
Add masala Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder, Pavbhaji Masala or Garam Masala in it.
 
 
Mix everything and press little so that all masala can mix well.
 
 
Yor Samosa Filling is ready.
 
 
Now Cut the Tortilla in Halves
 
 
 Put Samosa Filling in it.
 
 
Fold it in a Half way
 
 
Fold other half side
 
Hold the Toothpick in it
 
 
Spread little oil on it
 
 
Spread oil in vessel that can goes in oven
 
 
Put Tortilla Samosa in it
Cook in the oven on 450 hit till Tortilla become crispy
 
 
Your Baked Tortilla Samosa ready to serve. You can serve with Sweet Chutney and Coriander Chutney or Ketchup
